Oh Summer, we are so happy to finally see you after a long hard Winter and a very wet Spring.
We herald your bright sunshine, blue skies and green grass with a vibrant color palette of our own, finished with a few cues from your natural world here and there… a sisal rug, a straw hat, a scented botanical candle.
And because everything about Summer should be celebrated in our view, we invite the bugs in… exquisite and intricate in their own right, and especially beautiful on a comfy pillow!

Welcoming a child into the world is wonderful and chaotic in equal measure. With 4 children and 3 grandchildren between us, the FFG team have experienced these high and lows up close and personal over the years!
Raising kids takes time and patience, so we advocate for keeping things as simple and calm as possible in all other areas of life. Like a nursery design scheme - where limiting the decor to natural and neutral tones and textures will help keep the surroundings peaceful even when baby is not.
And since you’ll probably be spending a lot of time in this room as a parent, make sure you love the design too.
“When riding a horse, we borrow freedom”

I don’t think any of us at FFG headquarters have ever actually ridden a horse. But in our view, you don’t have to be an avid horse rider to love all things equine.
The grace, the clean lines, the simultaneous gentleness and strength of a horse are all qualities that can be admired and appreciated by those who have never been in a saddle, as well as those who have. That is certainly our experience, as we love a touch of equestrian décor in any room – whether it be a pillow, a wall print, a throw or just a small objet d’art.
Why not ‘get in the saddle’ and give it a try in your home?

At FFG headquarters we just love a cocktail at the end of the week… and nothing hits the spot quite like a martini, served icy cold in a gorgeous glass goblet. Although we are partial to a twist of lime, rather than the usual lemon, which would probably have the martini purists up in arms!
We’re not sure why “cocktail hour” is not practised too regularly these days. If it were up to us, we would institute it into every day with the same emphasis as breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Who doesn’t love a sunset? Especially at the beach. That quiet time at the end of the day is perfect for reflecting back on the moments that have passed, and dreaming of the possibilities for the next morning.
